Printing
Xennia Amethyst has been tested on the most frequently used printers, but Sensient will support users in checking the inks’ suitability for individual machines and models.
Xennia Amethyst inks have been specifically developed for direct printing using a belt feed system. Fabrics should be pre-treated prior to printing as described in the technology overview page.
For optimal printing, the relative humidity rate must be kept at 55% or higher and the ambient temperature should be around 20°C (70°F).
Fixation
After printing, the print should be dried before undergoing a finishing process comprising of fixation in steam at 100-104°C for 8-10 minutes with subsequent wash-off.
