Dear Valued Partner
The end of 2016 was a busy time for us at Sensient Imaging Technologies with continued growth in use of our Xennia Amethyst reactive inks for decoration of cotton and cellulosic fabrics. Our commitment to quality of color, printing performance and reliability saw new customers using the Amethyst ink in record numbers. Such confidence in our reactive product alongside Sensient’s other key technologies for textiles including the market leading ElvaJet range of dye sublimation and pigment inks and the Xennia Agate inks for polyamide means that Sensient can truly offer a solution to print any textile.
In addition, Sensient was busy introducing to the market a new and revolutionary ink technology ready to change the way we think about printing. At SGIA in Las Vegas and InPrint Milan, Sensient showcased the SX technology platform to allow sustainable and environmentally responsible printing of non-porous materials, carton board, and canvass. The SX technology is a water-based ink platform capable of printing plastics, metals, packaging board and many other materials.
At InPrint Milan, we announced the first partnership for the SX technology with Engico with an innovative 100% water-based solution for direct digital printing on compact and corrugated cardboard. The Engico Aqua printers, powered by specific Sensient SX ink technology allow processing and printing of Packaging and POS material for Indoor and Outdoor Applications without any need for pre-priming of the surface. This highly successful development outlines again Sensient’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that benefit businesses by means of cost and quality whilst focussing on minimal environmental impact.
Sensient is pursuing several industrial projects based on the SX technology and looking for partners to benefit from this innovation.
Sensient will be participating at FESPA Asia in Bangkok, February 15-17, 2017. Visit us at booth 11-130 to discuss our vast range of products and solutions
